Damn, I was sure I saw Caselli in the ASS list, but that was the DF list. Caselli also missing.

I think Safariberg/Garry had a good idea (time saving), in having a second pre-mounted external FI pump. The man that bought the bike from Garry said only took a few minutes to get it switched over and going.

    Even Honda quads are breaking...

Just after registering third place at the half-way point, Lucas Bonetto suffered technical difficulties, bringing him to a halt after 77 km. The Honda rider has been attempting to repair the problem for the last twenty minute

    Thanks.

He's gotten a bit scarce in the Dallas Advrider scene, and if he's scarce there, those of us in San Antonio will think he's disappeared off the face of the earth. :D

Looks like an RMZ 450 to me, I can't imagine it would be anything but.

If you buy external ones both fuel and water (although water pumps do fail at that rate), you should be able to carry a reserve one. I think with the correct tank design and fuel line routing you should be able to have one on each tank, use one at a time until it fails and then you switch to the next ... Now the question is, how many of them you will eat during a stage :D
Although cannot blame any of the mechanical pumps I had on my bikes
