    Revised version of article:

The 2013 World Superbike Championship may make its live U.S. television debut on beIN SPORT television on Saturday night, while being simultaneously streamed live online.

BeIN Sport, which has the U.S. broadcast rights to World Superbike, may show the first race live in the U.S.on Saturday, Feb. 24, at 8 p.m. EST. (Phillip Island is 16 hours ahead of EST.) Though the beIN SPORT website doesn't list World Superbike on its schedule, a spokesperson originally confirmed the time slot. However, in a follow-up e-mail, the spokesperson wrote that a decision hadn't been made on whether it would be televised.

"Superbike is only confirmed to be available streaming live online through the beIN SPORT website," the spokesperson wrote, adding that a decision on televising it would be made Wednesday, Feb. 20.

so it looks like there will be half a dozen households that get that channel, and I bet none of them even know what a motorcycle is.
let's hope, pray, light candles, chant, hum, and do whatever else might work, that there will be some type of on-line viewing, because WSBK has some awesome racing!
oh, and for those that missed my comments in other threads,
    FUCK speedtv!

Streamed live online sounds like it will be available to me?

BTW - the race will be live Saturday night in the States. 8 PM I believe.

Free is better than via subscription.

    What am I missing?

If it is available live online, I'll stream it. If I can pull that off using the awful network at the hotel.

I'd pay for a subscription just as I do for MotoGP. heck, I'd buy BSB and AMA if they were available to me too.

I'm on business travel for how knows how long and there ain't much I can do on a weekend that is entertaining and doesn't get me into trouble...:evil :huh

    Mr. Head,

I was able to watch WSBK races on youtube last season if I missed the race live.

Also, those links I posted previously will allow you to watch BSB live.

I see nothing on that site about any type of racing, all soccer stuff. maybe it's just not up yet since deal was just completed.
