Looks like a nice trip you have planned! I did a Key West trip last October and had a great time. When you get down there you might want to check out Coyote Ugly. If you see Stella tell her Jub says hi! :freaky

Good work Mike, thanks for saving me. For the geographically challenged like myself neither Google, Yahoo or Mapquest has ever heard of Willapoosa, no wonder I could not find it.

I would have never interpreted it as a "flowing body of water".

    Be safe

    its actually...

Willacoochee. same name as the Willacoochee River, which is a tributary of the Alapaha River. Alapaha is another town just up the road, which added to the difficulty I suppose.

New Tag, in a town named after Sly or perhaps a Cat.

Was actually planning on taking it farther west, but the weather started looking bad. So I saw this along my route and decided to grab it and head home.

Got to try out my new rain gear, which worked pretty good, I kept the rain off, but I got so hot I was soaking wet anyway, only from sweat.

its a hard balance to find gear that will keep you dry but allow some airflow.

Wow, I was just here,........ literally. This is one of the stops for the Grand Tour of Georgia. Guess I'll be trudging on back that way.

As far as rain gear........ Frog Togs for the Summer for sure if any is needed, just suck it up and get wet. For cooler/colder weather, heavier sturdier and rubber coated stuff is the way to go.

I did have to seek my rain gear today heading back down south from Charlotte, the lightening was popping, wind blowing, rain pouring but the Triumph rain suit I have now kept me dry.. but I waited till the last possible minute to don it, and doff it (take it off for ya'll) as soon as it stops pouring.

Oh,... nothing is ever too far south, north, east, or west if you have a Triumph. Just sayin.

The Georgia, Ashburn, Sylvester and Camilla Railway was founded in 1922 and operated a former line of the failed Gulf Line Railway from Ashburn, GA to Camilla, GA.

Our youngest son, Brody. Once in a blue moon he will ride so I guess tonight should be one. He is an excellent co-pilot.

New Tag shortly, I stumbled across a pretty good road for our area and will share it with ya after the tag gets got.

New Tag: Napolean met his match here, an appropriate name for the site. The tag is the building in front. Pay your respects with this easy find.
