No way to help being proud of your son, Dave. He's all that, and wears a uniform too! You've done a good job there!

Glad I wandered back to ADV (which I rarely do during snowmobile season lol).

You said more than once that this was different than any other trip you've ever taken and from the first post, I noticed that your writing was different than any of your previous reports.

Not a bad thing. In fact, quite the opposite.

The best way I can describe it is that it is more "free" and almost like you aren't editing yourself to write what you think others want to read, rather, that you are writing what you want to say.

Maybe a subtle difference to some, I don't know.

    It's awesome.

    Thanks for sharing, Dave!

Dave, I'm extremely blessed that aside from travel adventures you've continued to share your family with us all. I was in for the delightful Abby ride and have come to "know" everyone since I think. She hooked me then because she was literally my step daughter at that age. I recognized the antics to a T.

Thank you sir for your warmth, emotion and humanity.

Wow. You have introduced me to what a ride report can be. It's certainly not often that I tear up while reading through a forum. You've got me hooked, and I'm very anxious to hear the remainder of your report. I'm now quite glad I joined here, and I hope I can contribute something 1% as inspiring as yours.

ahDave. I haven't wandered into Day Trippin' in a long while, and when I did - your thread was up on top. :thumb

And that pic of Josh up front brought back some memories - including Loveshack and my 950Adv eyeing each other longingly in the parking lot of the Adventure Motel in Moab. :lol3

WHAT! It was a great interview. Here, everyone. This is what iDave is talking about. It's a great interview and insight into the master storyteller and his wife, iJulie.
