Fair enough. If ican make a few requests. Include KLR's, Wrangler jeans and Natty Light. Also let Tony tell the stories. His body language is enough to make the deaf understand the stories.:deal

Yeah I've been known to get a little carried away, especially after consumption of the aforementioned finely-aged Natty Light:lol3

Is there a set time for when people are doing the easy loop or is it just whenever a group gets together and feels like going?

No set times for any rides. Guys just kinda get together and make up a pack who want to ride together.

I will lead a ride Saturday morning at 10AM. Its the long loop that will go from Spec East and then South down to HWY 20 -along the bay for gas and then back up to Spec. Bout 100 miles... with stops along the way.

All other rides will be groups going out on the shorter loops or just exploring....

Lots of meet and greet here too... you dont actually have to ride to join in the BS....

I'm gonna try and make it since the old lady will be out of town anyway. Hopefully I get my bigger tank in the mail before then. When I went to Jackson Guard to get my permit she gave me a fishing permit and I didn't notice till afterwards. Was that a mistake or is that what they normally give out to riders since we're not actually doing anything except traveling through?

The fishing permit is for one calendar year. The visitors permit is from Oct 1 to Oct 1 and only cost 12. Really doesnt matter as long as you have one.

There are benefits to not loading the topo maps in your GPS. :evil All I had were your tracks with no other roads showing so it made for an interesting ride. I got messed up in the area on the way to hat tree where you detour into the little bypass. I saw some flags or ribbons on the tree and said "that was nice of Vic to mark the entrance" when in fact you didn't. After riding into the woods and back out a few times I realized there was no trail that we could see for very far. We ended up just bypassing that section and noticed 3 or 4 more turns going that way with ribbons all over them. :D So having the topo maps would have really helped there. Of course without them it was easy to take a wrong turn here and there. We saw some large building too at C6. In fact, that is how we got lost after turning around there. We saw 3 hunters and a few other people rescuing a trailer or at least near a broken down trailer.

p.s. I got the topo maps loaded now!
