My mess kit cover came and fits great. No laughing at the pattern on my 50 cent plastic travel plates. Firts my pot, frying pan, stove, fuel, and misc. kitchen goodies. Yeah, my floor's dirty. Thanks mom.

Unfortately, the custom-embroidered handlebar pad wraps I ordered don't fit. They're about 3 inches too wide. I guess I should have have measured instead of assuming that all handlebar pads are the same. :cry

I *might* be able to cut 'em down, but if not they'll end up in the flea market.

I am going to have to buy a JetBoil just to have an excuse to order a bag like that....

Have we or anyone, ordered anything with the ADV logo on it-- seeing your order above here just gave me the idea. I know I would be happy to pay extra to "ADV" on some of my fabric farkle matter for fun.

I sent him the Altrider rack before I mounted it so he could get a nice pattern. cannonshot wanted a bag too...with a nylon washer shim to raise the top plate a hair, a slime pump fits great in there...plus some extra stuff...

    the bag was $35 BTW....

Any chance I'll receive these in the next week or so? Ordered on the 28th. I'll have need for them in about a week and a half.

    Thanks

I corresponded with Corrado113 about a bag for that space some time ago, and he said he'd be happy to make one, but he needed measurements. I was never able to measure that oddly shaped space to where I was sure my measurements would provided him the proper info he'd need...

Now somebody has provided him an AltRider rack so he could get it make one and he got it *PERFECT*!!!

    I want one!!! BAD!!! :D

How do I go about getting one?

PM on the way to Corrado113 in just a couple of minutes!

    Thanks!

    Dallara

glad it worked out to have the rack shipped to him prior to my install....:thumb

Here are some photos of my custom liner bag for an IM2600 (interior dimensions: 20" x 14" x 7.7").

I wanted something that would have double-sided openings, dual zippers, and a center divider so I could move dirty clothes to the other side as I traveled. This way, everything would still pack to the same dimensions.

The bag is orange on all sides...

...except for this one (just so I know which side is dirty/clean):

Looking inside, you can see the center, super thin nylon divider that can max out the space on either side or anywhere in between. The grommet allows for additional compression by pushing out excess air:

When not in use, it flattens down:

And folds up small for storage:

The only alternations I'll need are liner pockets so I can stiffen the entire bag up with plastic inserts. That's just my personal preference.

Brady really is the very best at what he does. Thanks again! :clap

I wish I could take credit for it, but alas...it's not mine. Flight 001's SpacePak does it well and companies like Eagle Creek have similar double-sided packing cubes.

They're just not available in the size I wanted. Cue Brady! :D

There's something really nice about knowing that the volume of what I've packed won't change...it's just getting moved to the other side when dirty. And can return to the clean side if I do laundry along the way.
