I set the bead and then the pressure on Friday night and it was showing 14 rear and 18 front. I knew I was bouncing around a lot but when John handed me his pressure gauge in Oracle and it showed 40lbs I felt a bit better. Even though I was hurting all over it wasn't just an off day that I was going to call it. We bought a new pressure gauge on our way home. I still had a great time and also like that ride a lot. Definitely no pinch flats.
Upsie daisy Refukus Brad looking at the carnage and developing new strategy Skip really wishing he had a good battery about now. Kickstarting a 4 fiddy ain't much fun on a hill.
Lunch From L to R Terry, Brad, Roger, Skip, Allyn, Brad, Pete... Pan camera further R and you would see JC, Eric and me Allyn showing off his garnish etc. or perhaps showing off his fashionable scarf. Nancy Pelozi got nothin' on you.
Rewind, backwards to home Looks like I went into energy conservation mode on the way back and only got one shot. This I think is what is called The Elevator. I have a few vid's I put on FB but not sure how to get them on here. Great ride, great guys to ride with, great warm wx, thanks Hoosier Daddy.
Really awesome ride - just hard enough to challenge my skills (which were left wanting). Beautiful scenery and a great bunch of people - there to help when needed! HTM thanks for hosting. Don't know how any of you made day 2! I was a mass of useless all day Sunday. Where to next weekend!?
Great pics. What area is this? I've been thinking about planning a long weekend in AZ this year but don't really know where to find nice desert riding.
The staging area is in Marana, just north of Tucson. Its a really fun intermediate level ride. Hit up HoosierTrailmaster. He and his Tucson crew are great people and know all the good stuff around the area.
