System V helmet, size 49 (pinhead size), marked down from 899 to 99. No shit. Kinda hidden with a stack of Zeus helmets in the center, facing the race stands. Grey.

Did that and a LOT more back in May. Was raining like a bastard, rivers running down the trails. Went from Tellico to Franklin, mostly dirt. Couple of gsa's. an 800, a wee, and a Stelvio.

I'm on gps, use old metroguide and roads&rec map sets from garmin. I might (big big if) have downloaded the track. If I did, I'll upload it here.

If the weather doesn't improve I may be loading the bikes on the trailer and heading south as well. GDMF SNOW!!! Likely headed to the Tail of the Dragon area in Aug, see what all the hoopla is about, ride across some dbl yellows and the like so I can be flammed for it when Killboy post up pics of me being awesome.

I see EVIL has no bike... he should buy it!

It is fun for the sake of saying you did it. If you can, go on a weekday, as it is PACKED on the weekends. Dirt and gravel roads are much better, IMHO. If you stay in the area, check out the Ironhorse. They have camp sites as well as cabins and the common area is pretty cool.

New bearings, rotor and pads on the back of the DR650 last night. My rear turn signal magically started working again too! Looks like I'm good to go.

Only thing left is to fix the weather. Looks a bit broken to me.

Itching to get out for a trail run but still to much snow here and possibly more coming tomorrow.

Snow coming tomorrow won't stick around long, even on the trails.
