    Errr ... I thought I did:
My 450RFR is still "current". I doubt the latest offerings from other manufacturers will be very different from that.

I thought that an extended swingarm and a little more relaxed steering angle was a desirable trait? Aside from mistake free navigation, isn't speed (where stability would be a big factor) high on the list of important traits?

There appears to be a significantly less amount of triangulated bracing tubes on the trellis compared to the old ones. Also seems that they are using an RHS or oval aero section as opposed to round tube for the trellis bracing.

Coma's Rally frames had less bracing in them some years ago and I am also thinking that it looks shorter but that is purely an uneducated perception.

    More photos will tell all....

    Cheers

I believe that's a disqualification for disclosing our route finding magic to the masses. :deal :lol3

170km/hr is a good 10km/hr faster than the old bike...

Probably weighs in 5-10kg less, not much more with no more carb and a few less cross trusses in the frame. Not to mention EFI is a little more fuel efficient. So there is the answer?

Great scoop as always Chris, thanks buddy. :thumb

It's Erick Meier's team. He raced 2013 and is racing 2014 as well.

Honda HRC, is to test new DAKAR bike in Caifornia or close area this week.
Pizzolito already reaching LAX, and I understand rest of the HRC (not Honda Speedbrain) riders will be there too.

Pizzolito commented to be really happy with the new bike, he emphasized "we ´ve got a bike to fight on top"
Seems Helder is not testing there now, just Sam, Javier and also Johny Campbell Racing as support (and as a rider??).
