08-11 KTM 400, 450, 505, 530. 12-13 KTM 450, 500 Production ready later this winter. Let me know if you have any other questions, happy to help.
And the Yamaha 450 kit will be available when? Considering you managed to adapt it to a Honda I suspect the Yamaha is doable.
Since we are all thinking about Dakar. Ned and the first Rally Moto Kit earlier this year. http://www.advrider.com/forums/showpost.php?p=20328690&postcount=5264 Neduro's Thread.
Chris built Kevin Muggleton's (#186) Honda. I'm flying to Lima on Saturday and will be his support. Back to page 12 and before: http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=748125&page=12 Dave
Yes! ^^^ What Dave says in the above post. We made a custom one off kit for Kevin Muggleton and his 2012 Honda 450x. http://dakar.redverz.com/ His Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/Dakar.Redverz?
I know someone mentioned these earlier in this thread and also know you are quite busy. There are a "ton" of WR-250R's (X's) out there. As you know it's a great DS bike and owners are putting lots of miles and distances (and racing) on these with little to "no" fairing options (save one, Phoenix). The simplicity and lightness of your design would work well with the modest power these bikes put out. I know Orange is getting the preference right now but keep us in mind would you? I could inquire on some of the WR forums to gauge interest and post a link to your site if you wish...
Do the new 450 and 350 EXCR's share the same frame? If so, would the unit you make for the 450 fit the 350? Can we ask any "more" questions which would get in the way of you actually producing your units? I'm sure we can!
No worries, happy to answer questions. Kits I design are primarily for a Dakar project or bikes I currently own or have on hand. I have not had the requests for the 350 so I never researched if they share the same frame around the head tube. If they do share the same frame, this upcoming kit will work for the 350.
Kevin Muggleton on the Denver news channel. Go Kevin!! http://www.9news.com/news/local/article/307014/346/Denver-resident-to-take-on-Dakar-Race
Mockup of the dual Rigid SR 6" in the kit. 2 motos in this pic prepping for a Baja run in a couple weeks.
I asked on FB but probably better to ask here. Did you paint that tank? If so with what and does it stick well? Been going crazy over the last year trying to find decals that will stick to my tank. I have a rear safari tank (the big one that replaces both side panels) so once I put that on the only choice for numbers+decals will be on tank plastics and would be nice for them to actually stick this time.
Oh, and more importantly... that looks AWESOME! Hope to check it out in person sometime. I still have hopes of doing the Mex1K again.
