    Merry Christmas Julio and Luisa!

It was our pleasure to meet you and to hear your stories of other places.
Our lives were enriched by your presence.
As hosts and travelers, (and we take turns with both roles), we not only
become friends but we build the bridges between ourselves and our nations
and model what needs to be.

We hope someday to see your part of the world.

May the New Year and all your future roads be good to you both.
    Dave and Cee

Hola Dick, it is kind of sad indeed , but the good feeling coming from the knowledge that there is another one to come soon is stronger .
Not only the memories of that incredible BBQ and gathering in Wasilla , but also the memories of your pickled Halibutt(the best I've ever had) will stay with us forever .
Merry Christmas and a Great New Year !

    Julio

Ok, so i must say that your capacity to remember, both, food and folks is quite incredible.......either that or you have a great set of notes/journal. I too will miss reading your RR every couple days but look forward to your next trip so that I can once more live vicariously through you and your wife! Merry Christmas from Margie and I!

    Hi Tom,
I don't have a set of notes or journal, the experience with all the people I met was so great and impressive, that remembering
is pretty easy . And food...well, food is a central point in my life , it is my way of life , it is what I really love to do(both, cooking and eating):freaky , so it doesn't take any effort at all to remember special meals .
Thanks for following all this time and thanks for the short time we shared in Alaska ; you stories about your 12 year young daughter hunting a bear with her arch made quiet an impression on me and I keep on telling it everybody who asks me about Alaska and its way of life .
All the best to you,Margie and your girls !!!

PS: Luisa is still hoping that you might offer her a job as spanish teacher in your school :evil

    Hello everybody !!!:clap

All of you in some way or another have been part of our lives in the last months. I think a way to thank you, is to share with what I did for my husband, since you have been part of it.
