Right beside them is Wild Orchid Thai with the some of the best thai I've had anywhere. The daughter opened her own in Fenelon Falls this yr. Went last night and it is just as good.
For those of you who pass through Pakenham check out "Love That Barr (LTB)" (the owners' names are Love and Barr) for great pub food and pizza. mike
No idea if it's still there, but there was a terrific little pub in Smiths Falls Ontario on the canal/river with a fine Guinness tap that served the most delicious steak and kidney pie.
Had the pleasure of enjoying Wild Orchid a couple of times but looking forward to Fenelon Thai as we spend a few days in the Falls most summers. Thanks for the heads up.
Here is my favourite place to eat in Ontario, The Madhouse in Thunder Bay. And ADV'rs are welcome, many a rider has spent time here....
I have been to the Madhouse a couple of times and Feliz ( North Rider) runs a good bar and awesome food. I like to support our fellow riders , He has a great reputation and deserves every success.
Port Hope has great food,Jim's pizza has great pie and Bulai Thai has great tasting chow. The Winchester Arms is very popular as is the Railside. I strongly recommend the Thai place, yum!!!!!!!

Tintangles in Erin, a tearoom with great food The Shepherds Crook in Georgetown, Good pub with with a good selection of taps.
I squeezes my whole family into KORFU for lunch back in the end of last summer, my wife was a little unsure about the look of the place. We weren't even sure it actually was a restraunt at first. By the time we had finished, I felt as if I just just visited some long, lost Greek relatives. Typical Greek hospitalty; welcomeing, friendly, and you leave so stuffed you can hardly walk. My kids still ask about going back.
This thing is a big one, kind of like riding a 990 or a GSA on a gnarly bit of Canadian Shield single track and that is with the salad and NOT the fresh cut fries! Note that crispy cheddar fried up cheese halo...so bad and so good! Nice venue with plenty of space and what looks like a great deck for dining al fresco! Located at...45 McClintock Dr on the lovely shores of Puslinch Lake.
Ted's Range Road Diner halfway between Thornbury and Owne Sound. In the mjiddle of nowhere, in an old Quonset hut, but worth the ride for the food.
That's good to know, I usually have some work to do in the Cambridge area once a year or so. There's never anywhere to eat. Now there is.
Its one street back and in the middle where theres a couple other restaurants and a martini bar on the corner overlooking the lock. Its Googleable.
