Brady, not sure I've seen what I'm thinking of in this thread. I want a tubular bag to hold a tarp tent and poles, 26-28" long x 4" diameter, with an opening at one end. I was thinking the opening would fold-over closed like a dry bag, effectively making the closed length adjustable; so when open the length would be, say, 32"; and a buckle to hold the folded end closed. And one sewn-in strap along the length of the bag with a cross stitch every 2", through which tie-down straps could be fed through. Eh?

Perusing all your pics, I think this the below is a good, flexible design. I'd like one like this with a max dimension 28"x6", compressible down to 24"x3" (or even smaller is fine). Will that work? In Orange. PM sent.

Just to show another option for a tent bag - this is based on another product, with a lengthwise zipper, cover flap and compression straps. Works nice and easier to get stuff out of than a sack (for me). With peg and pole bags, a plastic mallet and whisk/pan - all fit inside.

How would these Jesse bag liners look like? The Jesse cases are fairly weirdly shaped, so what to do with liners? It's one of the reasons for me that I haven't decided on luggage yet ...

To make the bags match the Jesse cases, that would take a feat of intense geometry and complicated math.:eek1 What others have done is just get the rectangular bags and make them work.
