The pic I posted of the carb was NOT the carb I am actually using.........it's just a pic of an FCR 41 I found on Google Images. I don't have my carb in hand yet, as I am ordering new +4" on the throttle cables for my application. They will ship carb and cable at the end of the month (24th) Boojum
Seems redundant yes. Maybe i'll like the vapor enough to get rid of the factory 80's garbage someday or not. Maybe the bike gets sold soon and its there still and I remove the vapor. to each their own.
hey guys I could use some help what tubing or hose type are you guys using for your homemade oil coolers? spud(I love your setup)????? anything specific appreciated thanks christian
As Steve said, I bought some 3/8-inch, oil line hose from the local auto parts store. I wasn't worried about the pressure rating, but I got hose with the highest temperature rating I could find. Spud
What options are you guys using on AUX lighting?? I need a little more light for Hill Country night riding. Chris
It was a great race and spectacular event. I enjoyed getting together with my old buds and meeting some new people: My new friend Dean Wilson Pre race strategy session with old friend Rodger De Coster Blake didn't like my advice on the fastest lines through the track but listened. Must of been of some use, he won the 250 main. This gal wanted to know if I thought see should try being a quarterback instead of a pit tootsie. A true privateer: A fair turn out: This is about as good of an action shot as I was able to get. RV , checked out and way ahead, on his way to winning the main. Steward crashed. Nice night for a ride home:
No sir, this beast instead. Wait till you get a load of the new rubber!: The old rear went out with a bang.
Hey Fritz.nice shots,,i bet you had a ball,,that`d be a pile of fun right there... Hint: if you want good action shots in the arena get yourself a D3 and a 200-400VR then you can get the shutter speed up without alot of image noise.. B
I used Aeroquip FC332-06. Rated for gasoline, oil, air & water up to 300 degrees F. Tubing is 3/8" x .028" stainless bent with a Rigid #406 tubing bender. If I were doing this again I'd use the cooler that Spud used and mount it where he mounted his. 20/20 hindsight - we've all got it.
Fritz You know RD was at Rio on Sunday for Family Day Right . A friend of mine got his signature on his new to him mint condition TM400 that day .
