The 2x rider will be one to watch. He has a fake foot on one side. Elective amputation due to so many MX injuries. He's a bit of a legend as Emievel (sp?) over on P4x4.

Chris Ridgway! He competed in the 1K last year, and also competed in The King of the Motos. He is an amazing talent, and a nice guy too.

There is also a rider on that team who lost his leg at The Mint 400 back in the early 90's. Mario Panagiotopoulos. He was the first amputee to finish the 1K solo in a car. Now he is on a team full of Bad Ass MF's riding a bike.

So what leg are you riding BD?

Any talk of an Adv pit this year?

I am riding from Puertecitos to Bay of LA Road crossing (aprox135miles) then maybe from Vizcano
to San Ignacio aprox 80 miles or San Ignacio to La Purisima aprox 132miles

So I am either riding 220 miles or 352 and maybe another 80 miles from Punta Conejo to the Finish
for a total of 432 miles
It all depends on what happens with my son's High school Play off Football games ( I cant miss his game!!)
Things may change come Race week.

We are Piting with JCR and using our 5 chase support trucks

Not unless someone else runs it. I will be with The Wounded Warrior crew for this one.

with having to have over 20 pits you are better off using one of the PIT services
Mag7,BajaPits and if your on a HONDA use JCR pits.
JC will be back from the Morocco Rally in about 15 days then offto BAJA!!!!

Is anybody going pre-running from the 18th-22nd? I could use someone who knows Baja pretty good. We'll be riding from San Mateos to Laredo on Friday and Saturday, returning on Sunday.
