Uh, ok - I'm down the street in NoHo getting some grub, water and fueling up. Speaking of fuel- any idea when we'll see a gas station again? I only have a ~120 mile range. :-(

Thanks Joel. Yeah you're right about the 600 mile service, but I'm already a couple of hundred miles over and I've got family visiting. Must keep the marital bliss... Have a good one.

86d4life and I showed up to say hola as we planned on a more sedate ride across SCD and the like...but instead we teamed up with Bouncing Billy and Yzlvr so that sedate shit went out the window.... ...

SCD to Indian Cyn over to Acton then to BPL to the Hill climb (much easier with wet sand) and the water crossing...no tracks so we pressed on up to Gleason then ran Lynx backward...there we saw all the tracks from you FFs...then we hit Newcombs for grub....

True to my form I had a front tire blowout on the 101 on the way home...3rd one in a year...:huh WTF.....

Had a great time today, back home with my feet up.

probably...started with 30 psi this am....did you see me kicking my front tire at the gas station?....Must have been a leak already...like a dumbass I ignored it as my imagination...made it 15 minutes down the freeway and pow....we changed the tube on the side of the freeway but there was so much sand blowing around from the passing trucks I think I need to change it again....

Home safe and sound. Very nice conditions. No woodland creatures were harmed. Blow out Nowwhat! I take it everyone is OK?

no dust, great traction, no carnage, lots of riders, good lunch, and we covered a lot of miles today!

thanks guys for coming out and sharing the fun. sito, don, and john...appreciate you guys taking turns and leading the ride from one point to another.

i'm glad to see several fresh faces and thanks for trusting us...

we started with 18 riders, and then picked up elevator junky along the way, and at the end 8 riders rode till dark....:eek1

it will be hard to top this ride...
