BearCat lodge update for GFunk.

Apparently the Jack A's that own the place had been threatening to sell out to a "Nazi" group just to thumb their noses at the locals. It's now being reported that a local rancher has finally purchased the place... for a song.

Must have ran out of people that have only been there once and told all their friends why.

Well, that is indeed unfortunate.

Question is, didja learn anything from this? If not, after you heal, go back and try again!

Still here. Busting some cleanup of the garage, yard work, horse show stuff for the kiddo. How are your ribs doing

I'm still here, just up to my eyebrows in final tests and projects. Only two weeks of school left.

Ok just checking, it got eerily quite the past couple days. My ribs are doing well and I see a fairly short recovery in my future.

Nope nothing to see here. Move along...

On the way back from parts east recently, We stopped at a closed weigh station for a break and I had an opportunity to weigh the GS, loaded down with gear and me. not a scientific test, mind you, not a full tank of gas, no firewood nor much water. Yep, 1000 pounds. Guess i never really thought about it before. Now that I think about it, it makes sense, but wow.




What's a fully loaded Goldwing weigh?
