Did you get the standard service or did they do a complete rebuild? Either way, how much did it cost in the end (shipping included)? I bought a used '07 GS with 62k miles last September and have put about 5k on it so far. I am not sure when the Ohlins were installed or if they have ever been serviced. I'm wondering whether I should get them serviced this fall as a precaution, as I am planning a 10k+ mile trip next summer.
