Will Hodag change his tune when Favre visits Lambeau for his jersey retirement ceremony?

Tune in tomorrow for the riveting conclusion of "As the cheeseheads turn."

Hey Hodag, I will buy you a cold one when you come to visit the Lombardi at Gillette. Pretty soon they will have to rename it the Belichick trophy.

    Brings up a question.

Is an NFL championship from the 30's equal in value to a Super Bowl championship from the 2000's?

Why would it not? All athletes on teams back then on the same equal playing field contesting against each other just like now..

1/3 as many teams to compete against for the top spot. League in flux. Every year several teams on the verge of collapse. Brand new replacement teams to take their places.

    Lombardi has more titles
He never coached a "Super Bowl" game
It wasn't called the Super Bowl until the third game...
    Of the afl-nfl merger

I suppose you could argue that winning the conference championship is the same as winning a pre-super bowl title.

the Packers have won 13 NFL titles
    That's a fact.
I think we cover this every year.
We started as a team in 1919, joined the NFL in 1921.
    I bought in in '97
Under my leadership we have excelled
3rd oldest team in the league...

Maybe we should reset the records every time another team joins the league?
    To be fair....

Nobody's coming to get your titles. I'm just saying maybe it's harder to come out on top of the heap when the heap's bigger. Jesus, the Lions won one back then. If that's not proof... :lol3

They'll still be the Green Bay Packers in the year 3000.

The Pack have OTAs going on, and I was with a bunch of 6th grade girls that were watching players leave for practice. Imagine them seeing the Beatles or bieber... yells and squeals of excitment.....Then some o lineman waved at them....I think a few fainted..
