Marquez does look good on dirt, should be a neat race and great for dirtrack to draw interest. It must be hard to race shorttrack and be on the rev limiter almost constantly,I guess they rev so quick the hit the limiter instantly. The track looks smooth, should be fun to watch!
You can definitely hear them banging the rev limiter coming into that corner everytime. Most gear their machine to hit it just before their shutoff point. Barry
Tuned in to SuperPrestigio LIVE!!!! ATTENTION AMA!!! This is how to sell tickets!!! Dang that looks like a good time!
Any chance someone can get this up on Youtube ? The Cycle world coverage is only available to USA/Canada/Mexico Cheers
looks like they were having a blast! marq pushing brad wide a few times, a shame he fell, but goes to show, don't mess with brad the bullet! two things, Marquez would have a blast racing dirt track here, AND, Brad needs to start roadracing NOW !!!!
From my unofficial lap times Brad was cruising in the finale...I'm sure he didn't want to take Marquez out. Maybe we can get Marquez out on the Indy mile during MotoGP weekend?
he kept looking back for him, he definitely slowed up, the rest of the field closed right up. I don't think he meant to take him out either, I'm sure they both wanted a photo finish.
Great event! How often do you get to see the current MotoGP champion racing against an AMA flat track champion? Sorry Marquez went down. Just a "racing incident":) Baker seemed upset that Marquez went down. Probably worried Marquez might have gotten injured. Thanks to Cycle World for streaming for free!
Very cool event, looked like everybody had fun. Marquez was pretty impressive on dirt, but I think Baker was taking it easy! Hope to see it again! It would be great to see Brad on a road racer and the guy who built his singles bike was into local road racing here, Ben Schenk, so it might happen?
There was some sandbagging. When Baker kept looking back for Marquez I'll bet he was thinking, "They said they would only buy my plane ticket home if I keep it close."
I watched SX last night,Cycle world doesnt have the video available that I can find. Hopefully it goes up on You Tube soon.
Here is the main, pretty good action, Brad seems to adapt to 17s with rains pretty easily. nd it would be cool to see Marc come over the US and try a short track race. <iframe width="640" height="360" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/TGqOe_8Iz2o" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
