I have recently opened a motorcycle rental business in Fairbanks, AK. For the 2012 rental season which begins May 2012 we will have 4 2012 F650GS and 4 2012 F800GS and a couple of well-maintained older R1200GS. You can make your reservation for the coming season now.

You can check out all the particulars at http://www.fairbanksriders.com

Come ride the interior of Alaska next year.

There were a number of folks up this summer looking for dual sport rentals in Fairbanks. Nice that you got this up and running!

Shared out your link and info on local forums here in GA! :clap

I rode to AK in 06 and look forward to doing it again with my wife. This might be the ticket to for many people to fit a great adventure into a much shorter timeline by flying in and renting a bike. I wish you the best of luck!

We found someone to haul our bikes to Alaska this past summer. Doubt he will ever do it again, and if he does, the price will be double, which now makes renting a bike a great deal. We flew in to Anchorage and spent 9 days riding Alaska, loaded the bikes up and flew back home. What an experience. I'd highly recommend renting. We took the trip of a lifetine in 10 days. One thing I might suggest is figuring out a way that renters can ship in most of their camping gear. Or better yet, rent them gear. Ours went on the trailer with the bikes. Flying with that much gear is a pain, and expensive. Good luck with your new venture, what a great experience Alaska is.
