Poe's is good. Hopefully parking won't be too bad on a Wednesday night this time of year.

It's already been +1'ed, so +2. That's a bit far for me to think I can reasonably get to by 6.

After initiating this thing I think I'm going to have to back out.....way too much on my desk this morning to allow me to get out of here early enough to make it back to Sullivans Island.

I think this is getting to be a tradition; whoever suggests the place to eat has to work it out so he can't actually be there. :D

Well in my defense, I didn't suggest Poe's but I did bring up the question if there was a dinner this month so I take some responsibility.

Since I now live in west ashley I was going to suggest Home Team BBQ on 61 but Poe's was put up before I made a suggestion....and that is why I replied back that it may be 6:30 before I could get there. In hindsight I should have said I couldn't make it rather than puh the time back.

Sorry for any inconvience I may have caused.

I hate this 'cause I was really looking forward to making it tonight, but upon reflection, all the way from Savannah (where I work) up through Ridgeland (where I live) through downtown Charleston and out to Sullivan's Island is just too far to make it on the timeline available. I'll try very hard to make the dinners that are on the southwest side of Charleston, though.

Hope everyone has a great time. I have a nice 200 mile road ride route worked out down Ridgeland way if anyone is interested in a Saturday ride one of these days. Starts in Walterboro.

Best wishes everyone and bon appetite!

No problem- sorry you can't make it. We should do Home Team BBQ again sometime (I think we last hit it a couple of years ago).

OK guys- it's about that time again. Any interest in a meet tomorrow night?

I'll throw a suggestion out there for a meeting location- how about Madra Rua (http://www.madraruapub.com/), either the new one north of Summerville on 17-A or the original in downtown North Charleston on Montague?

Me? As long as the beer is dark I don't care about the state of the ambient lighting. :D

N Chuck is fine with me.
