Shit, most of the pic's you will see of me on the KLR will be on it's side:lol3
It was the rider not the bike, not enough balls to stay on the gas.
Chop the throttle, front digs in, down I go.:cry Ribtoberfest was one year on a dirt bike and I really haven't been in the sugar since my crash during bike week.
I still think a 9fiddy is the most fun you can have with your pants on.:clap
You reallly have to ride one to understand. I'll never get rid of it. I'm hoping to pick up enough skills with a smaller tamer bike to master the beast.:ricky

Anyway now that Knutz is out of the picture for a while who is going to step up and lead the fleas? I know a few places I'd like to try out from the Jeep days.

Damn, you guys have been busy. I got a little dirt ride in on Sat, rode some old rail line that has had the ties removed and found some cool sandy hill climbs to ride up just a few miles from the house. There is a huge swamp just south of there near Bronson, FL that I am going to check out next.

I will be in ONF riding next Sun, if anyone is coming out tell me where you want to meet up. :ear

Hopefully I will have high speed internet out there in the next few days and I will be more willing to post. That dial-up doesnt work well at all, so I dont bother with it. When is the last time you saw a connection at 49,000 bps? :lol3

Scott, let me know if you want to get together for a street ride. Now is a good time, the weather is nice and I still dont have a job.:deal

I was really hoping to come out and ride with the Fleas this Sunday but my wife's got to fly to Seattle so I think my two kids and I will be heading off to Croom, if they want to ride.

I'll be up for a street ride soon, need to dust off the Busa again.

That area with the old rail grade is a nice ride, I rode it last year. Good stuff.

I cleaned out my garage yesterday and came across a whole bunch of kids dirt bike clothes that have been out grown. Some items are new and never worn.

Thought I'd offer them up to the Fleas first. I have three pairs of kids dirt bike boots, Alpinestarts kids size 13 (white), Fox size 1 (I don't think were ever worn) and Fox size 3.

An extra small blue chect protector, an extra small helmet, a pair of Fox 360 pants size 24 in blue and a pair of Fox tactic pants size 26.

I also have a brand new pair of Thor Quadrant adult boots, size 9. My kid grew out of them before he ever got a chance to wear them.

Pm me if you may be interested in any of this stuff

give me a few more weeks of getting used to my new Magna then I'll be happy to join y'all.

Unless you plan to do a ton of stuff off the beaten path, then I'm SOL and I'll meet you at the nearest slab exit for a beer.

On my Show Queen? You must be Krazy! I just spent 2 hrs polishing her up after getting her. She sat for 5 years in a garage. Chrome must be shiney!

Visited the Dr today and I've got an appt with the Orthopedic Dr next week. My HMO makes me jump through hoops to see the effin specialist I need to see! :baldy Bastards! That's the way this bs works. Doc said it didn't look too good and, judging by how swollen it is & where the pain is, I may have tore some shit up in my knee! :eek1 That blows! I've had trouble with my right knee before when I had a collision with a calf on my DR350 about 9 years ago.:bluduh That little fucker made me highside off the bike upon impact, landing on my (you guessed it) right knee, back, helmet, etc. Nothing happened to the calf, that some bitch kept on going through a hole in the fence back to his pasture. I guess it finally caught up to me! Oh well, shit happens! I'll wait to see what the Ortho Dr says after I get an MRI. In the meantime, rum & coke seems to ease the pain a little. :1drink Needless to say, I may not be riding for a while. :cry I'll keep you FFs posted.
