I've really got to make time to go NE and catch up on tags. You guys have been setting some really nice ones lately! WTB slightly less rain, though.

I can't believe this tag sat for two weeks, but I am glad it did. It was a gorgeous day up there and I had a blast getting there. I recommend heading up there even if you are not chasing a tag, just watch out for tractors on your way back down.

I am sure this has been a tag before but I am new here so I don't care. The signs in the pick should tell you all you need to know to find it. I suggest you keep heading up the hill to the fire tower when you are there.

Located on a Hwy with the same name as the country music legend #### Owens. One end of the road intersects with a Cherokee National Forest road that runs along a popular trout fishing stream (creek). The site has a name..."God's Mountain Retreat". I'm not trying to add a religious spin...just the name.

Many weekends were spent in that area as a child. Wish I could grab this one, but it's gonna be a busy week.

I decided, over the winter, if I was going to ride 6 to 8 hours in a day, I'd press on and there would be palm trees where I park the bike for the night.:super

I've never been to Catoosa...does look like a good ride, though.

I found myself in Crab Orchard on a ride Saturday and remembered this tag but poked around and couldn't find it. I ended up in Fairfield Glade I think and wife was getting tired and wanted to head for home. I checked on the map late and I was probably a stones throw from the tag! Doh! Oh well it was a nice day for ride.
