I started a thread about advise on buying a canoe. Thought it would be interesting, to see some pictures of your on water trips.

This is what I'm thinking of buying, a Wenonah 18' Jensen.

Nice Jensen!! Those are hilariously fast when ya goose 'em a little.

My Spirit III is excellent for all my local water, from class III to lakes w/ moose meat loaded to the gunwales. Lean it up on a chine, paddle it like a kayak and it acts like a 12' solo!

We-no-nah canoes are nice, and a lot tougher than you think.

These recreational fiberglass kyaks are made by The Western Canoe Co. (Clipper Q Stars) in Abbotsford BC and only weigh 24 lbs. Little hot rods on the water. Love'em.

Western Canoe Co. makes great boats . . . we've had a kevlar Clipper Tripper for over a decade and have paddled everything from Puget Sound & great lakes to lazy rivers. They're even making the Prospector line now that was popularized by Bill Mason
