Got to love it! (along with the Czec beer)

Looks like you need a snorkel conversion or a Uni filter (with pre filter) at least.

You are right - Uni Filter will be better for next time. I need also 18 rear wheel for better tire than Mitas C-02 :scratch...

I like Mitas C02 - not sure if you would do much better? What would you be looking at?

Looks cool - nice to see the HP2 with a loaded GL bag in it's natural environment.

I was in Poznan a few years back for a conference - was impressed by the old city ... and beautiful women :evil

My hp2 has 57,000k on the clock and it is nealy 7 years old and I am concerned about the rear shock failing and I have the opportunity to get an Adventure shock that is off an 2008 adventure that has 5,000k on it.
Has any one fitted a Adventure or GS shock to a hp2 ?
If so, is there any modification needed to fit the shock? Or is there any problem with this fitment.

I bought a techno flex rear shock from a GS 12, it will not fit a HP2 without modification. the spring was far too stiff for the hp and had to be replaced. Had new spring and the shock serviced for 120 GBP, also some milling and drilling will be required to both ends of the shock to fit the HP mountings. the good news is the shock will be the right length. my brother is an engineer so did the work for me, it’s quite simple in an engineering factory with all the kit but i doubt its doable in a home workshop. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />
On the plus side when done the bike rides and behaves like it should.
If you have a mate with the skills and the shock is cheap, id say give it a go.
