The next time you come through my neighbourhood Gord, let me know. We'll get some lunch & maybe a pint at a local pub.
Okay, winter is finally getting serious, so I yanked the driveshaft out of the bike this morning, and it's in the mail to Bruno for a preventative rebuild. Little bike only for the next 3 weeks. The one time I wish it would snow.
Finally got around to ordering an HID kit - spent an enjoyable couple hours in front of the wood stove playing with wire and heat shrink making up two proper replay harnesses for it - but too cold to install on bike last night.
Not gonna get any warmer for a while, either. You guys wanna drag your bikes over here, you're welcome to use my tools, and more importantly, heated garage.
I may need that heated garage! My shop....*sigh*....is still not ready, and I've given in to temptation and signed up for Sandblast again. My KTM is still broken and has not been run since the Paris-Dacre rally! Luckily it has been warm enough recently that I had enough time to change some wheel bearings, swingarm heim joint bearing, fix a bit of wiring, and install the new Scotts upper triple. Still needs a new set of Flexx bars, valve check/adjust, brake/coolant service, and make sure the damn thing still runs. dc
Brand new with tags - I ordered the wrong size for my fat ass...I can send back but figured if anyone is interested I'll sell for my cost (ludicrously high $350 CND), less $30 to ship them back. Kevlar lined with armour - size 32" waist. Very well made and much cooler than me anyway....see link for info http://www.maplemoto.com/collections/frontpage/products/copy-of-1941-straight-cut-with-kevlar-armour
I nominate Drif to run a proper bike shop in Kingston. We are desperate, and there is nothing in town. Can't think of anyone who'd do a better job! dc
Have you seen the postings on Kijiji ....people looking to get the stored bikes, and ordered paid for parts but there is no contacts.
