check and see if the town/city plows them. if they do, you are paying for it with your taxes, and its public.

Weather is looking good for the weekend.. plan on being out at Pachaug on the Husaberg Friday,,and maybe over the weekend as well. Chance of rain is diminishing every day.

In Cava, almost every year at Town Meeting, the DPW asks us to accept private roads as "public ways". Other than the town now having to maintain and repair the roads, I don't know what the significance of this is or if there is some official list of public ways.

Also in Cava, the town plows private ways that school buses travel on, and one road that is private (dirt, no houses, has name and street sign) so they can loop around to another road.

I have heard of something called a "County Layout" which has some significance on a roads status but I don't know anything more.

MATPOC, your tire just poked my eye out.

Will await review -- I understand those are a heavy beast, but I'm going to choose between that, the stonemaster and the 606 for the next knobby.

Gotta support my bike habit somehow, 2x time isn't a bad way to do it.

I'm still planning to camp at mt Misery tomorrow (aka Thursday) night and ride the loop Friday. I may camp again friday night but I may head out after the ride. It depends on the weather amongst other factors..

Tomorrow I'm doing some family t-day stuff about 10 miles south of Mt Misery. I am not yet sure if I'll set up camp before or after the family commitments. It depends what time I get out there.. Either way I won't be hanging out at the campground until after dark, I figure 5-6pm if I'm lucky. No later than 7pm. If Matt and/or anyone else camping can post the # for their site at the campground that would be cool. If I set up early I'll try to do the same..

Not really on topic, but this makes me want to buy a tractor.
