Glad all went well. I had a great time and did just around 127 miles...

Started with Froth Apperson Barney and me leaving from Tom Thumb and heading west...Norman Riley road and then Breakfast at Mickeys where we Picked up Dan Walker. Made it up to Hurricane lake on a long gravel/sand/red clay dirt road where we took a break. Standing around a Weestrom pulled in and geve us the finger so we saluted back. Turn out to be Nano over from Mobile with kids and such...

In 17 yrs, last night was the most I have enjoyed watching X-Games. It was the 1st year with Endurocross as an event and it was spectacular. The racing was great, but the crashes were even better. They had a womens final and the crashes were plentiful. I felt sorry for some of them and could feel their pain and frustration. It is well worth watching and all the best off road racers showed up to compete for the gold! Two of the guys fly out this morning to race the ISDE so these guys are a little bit crazy and total bad asses!

Damn I missed it. Wonder if I taped it???

Only had one ride this weekend but it was fun.... even if the end of the day was HOT. Man I thought I would never make it back to FWB and the pool....

Ya see that is the difference with dirt guys and not really dirt guys... I pack my minifridge so that all condements will not be distrubed by a suddend jolt or side motion. Its that attention to detail that makes for an EPIC ride....

FBM - we need to hit mossyhead sometime when ive got my enduro machine and not this overweight dirt-road queen drz. dont get me wrong I like em a lil thick, but sometimes its better to have a scalpel than a broadsword.

Wish you could have given me some pointers Vic! The champagne spewed all over the place at the lake but at least the caviar made it unscathed. Next ride bring some good cheese and I will make a killer quiche!
