Back in the land of Oz, but work just isn't giving me the time to string experiences like these together Sorry guys RR in slowly coming together.
Welcome back Kym, your ears must have been burning was talking to The Cougar today and mentioned your name. Will the work schedule allow a Pooncarie run this year? Cheers AJ
Almost impossible to ride past this without a pic Mine was a little while ago, they seem to have gained a picnic hamper.....
I was going to park my bike up on the platform too, I thought at the time nobody else would have parked a KTM up there before, there was also a little jar with free smiley face badges to take there too
6 years on and still getting paid out about it :eek1 I better stock up; hate to disappoint I doubt it will be melted - had ice on the windscreen again this morning. You want the Glass 'n a Half stuff or have you gone all Euro trash on us since riding in the Northern Hemisphere. I am not planning on breaking my leg and giving my best red to the ranger that took me to Wudinna Hospital either - come to think of it because of his weather advice I kept my intermediates on instead of going the Rally Raids. Don't think there is much chance of claiming that back now either. So you coming or what need to know if I should buy Cadbury shares If you can't make it I will organise a Farina Bakery Run and start our own special club
yes work is a bit ordinary, It is gettting so bad that I have started scanning the AK thread again and found a F800 for the old boy and a F700Gs for moi sitting in Anchorage just waiting for us.... the 800 sold on sat.... planning to go again in 2 years, still more to explore and maybe go for longer (90 days as long as we can get ?) and maybe buy bikes and sell when we are finished, down to Canada and ?? the old boy has some crazy idea about following the migratory routes of the fluffy bird things and go south with them to follow the weather......plus we didnt ever make it to Haines and ...... Or just sell up and throw the last son out in the street and pack the bags and not come back for a few years......... tempting.....

PBee and I are going up to the Robertstown property on Tuesday next week for a couple of nights. We have some fencing to repair for the owners plus Pete's taking his DRZ. There's room for a couple of regulars to come up if they want to. Not expected to do any work but either for camping, riding or just chillin'. BYO tucker and refreshments. Ps. Anyone got any cheap s/hand star droppers? Cheers
I've got a dropper banger (home madie) and a half dozen droppers I could bring. Bits of wire and pliers. (and a DRZ)
Thanks for the offer but might be a while. Back now & hopefully back for good after November. Heading to WA in a few weeks. Haven't got a bike going to come up for a drink - 650XC stuffed master cylinder, 1200 still on a truck some where from Kununurra, 750 needs work, postie hasn't gone for a few years & sons 650XC in pieces getting ready for ride back to Perth. This retirement lark is seriously complicated. Hopefully catch up before Xmas.
Excuses. Don't bother bringing a bike. Beer, wine, tucker and sunsets on my agenda. Swag and a few good laughs will round it off.
