haha yeah, it scares the crap out of me to have both brakes locked and still be sliding... trying to balance, knowing I have to turn or stop SOON.

    its why I ride slow.

    :D

I had fun today man, thanks for letting me tag along.

I got my hockey puck remounted a bit ago even!

mdawg wanted the GPS file, so I just posted a link to it on Arkansas Ride Reports. In my answer, I also include a video that apostle2 posted of going down in during SLAP 2010. They dropped off the ledge no problem (2:00 on the video), but that clay V-shaped trench (3:00) we went around sure looks deeper now (or in real life).

I saw a reference a year or so ago to part of that road being graded.

that video looks to be pre graded condition?

In the video, the initial part of the road looks worse, but the ledge and further down looks better than they did today.

that Jeep XJ ( with the snorkel), and other crawler were barely visible from 20 feet away on the side, since they were down in that trench, it must have been 6+ feet deep?

or maybe its all camera perspective, nothing ever really looks scary on video.

    Morning guys, and Mouth.

Great idea, doc. We get lots of questions for street routes, so this will help. I'll add. A couple of questions and one suggestion.

Suggestion: put a line in your directions that clearly states the routes are all pavement, no gravel (if that's what you intend).

    Questions:
    1. How are you suggesting the routes get categorized, in the subject line or something?
    2. What do you mean by: "We will "catalog" of what we. These will be in numerical..." Something missing in that first sentence.

Went for a ride today. Still not to fast. Some of the back roads i had to take were wet. Soo being new i was worried the bike would slide out from under me. But it did not. tried to ride faster on the turns. I feel like i am going good. Then another car pulls behind me :cry also found some smaller dirt trails. some water and some bigger things to get through. also learned mtn bikers are not to friendly. I was not even going fast or on there side of the road. Waved but did not get a waves back. i am getting a little faster. maybe 2-3 years i will be able to keep up with you guys

    stuck
