Would've loved to come on this but unfortunately Emms and myself will be coming back from portugal on the 2nd of May ready for The Taffy Dakar on the 7th. I'm sure you'll have a great time and the ride report will be a good read.
Hahaha, I unpacked everything last Saturday, just had to take the 690 out to the local dirt pit in IJmuiden! Cold but fun!

Yep thats what im afraid of! Last trip mark and I did 1000kms in 12 hours... mostly on the italian highway. Ride, fuel, piss, ride and repeat..... sent using my fingers and voodoo magic.

I may be interested in this if I know the first camp stop in Portugal. Time is my own. So I can tag on some extra's day's and spend it with you lot. The problem is I'm not in to trail riding. But I could be interested in bumming around the north end of Spain before I carry one with my trip. John933
Just finished the last few jobs on the bike in preparation for this, now I'm afraid to ride it in case I wear something out.
I'd have liked to bring the GS but I'd be very unsure of its reliability and it would also take up too much space in the van, it'll have to be the DRz I'm afraid. Pity though. Hmmmmm, we'll see who's knackered in May.
