From 2014 it's no longer even on terrestrial TV in the UK.

    Shame.

But MM has a 25% win rate. BS's is MUCH less.

Don't get me wrong- I was pulling for him at Tech3 then the factory ride. But Ben's prospects don't look so good now. If the pit garage walls could talk......

:clap I'm going to Sachsenring! Anyone know about train or bus service from Chemnitz to get there? That's where we are staying.

    Sachsenring Circuit overview
Germany has always drawn some of the biggest crowds in motorcycle racing and the old ‘East’ Germany has perhaps more than its share of international circuits. Sachsenring is one of them, located 20km west of Chemnitz and 80km south of Leipzig.

When races through the streets of nearby Hohenstein-Ernstthal – the first of which took place in 1927 – became too dangerous, a new, purpose-built circuit was constructed, 4.18km in length and combining four left turns and nine rights. It has held the German GP since 1998.

The drive from Leipzig airport will take just over an hour, while buses and trains run regularly from Chemnitz. Weekend crowds have grown steadily at Sachsenring, with figures in excess of 200,000 not unusual.

He is going to show up but the question is will he bring his balls and ride that Ducati or just be lapped by CRT's or even Collin Edwards

They don't get to rebuild them. I don't know what the rule is about retiring a motor. Once they are out of motors I believe they start the race from pit lane.

Just because a team switches to a different engine does not mean they cannot keep the previous engine in circulation.

What Swimmer said. The motors stay sealed and can continue to be used.

Don't forget, Jorge effectively won the WC last year with only 5 motors.

I am not sure how much differences there can be between engines but I wonder if they have a one or two of a few "different" types of engines that might be better suited for different types of tracks. This would explain why someone would use 3 different engines of their season allotment in just the 1st 4 races.

I feel like I am in the minority but I felt like Suzuki was bringing a pretty decent bike to the track in 2011. I base this on how fast Hopper got up to speed with it on his few appearances and the fact AB isn't doing a whole lot better on the Honda.

Who will ride the bike at the spanish test?

Looking forward to them being back on the grid.

I think it'll be RdP again (I'm sure I read this somewhere) but I may be wrong.
