I tore my hamstring a week ago and now my leg is a nice shade of purple/yellow so I know that look.

Final round this weekend, Tomahawk in W Virginia! And I'm.........OUT!

My decrepit old body has not healed up since the getoff at Etown, I'm still friggen sore so no racing for me....

Kind of a bad year for me race wise, Hurt twice and bike problems all year. 2 class championships last year but nothing this year.

As soon as my ribs (and hip and back) are better I'm hittin the gym...faaaak

Just finished the restore last weekend (1978 Maico 400)
All new except the frame paint which was so nice I decided not to repaint it. As you can see by the front forks, footpegs and rear brake pedal, it was in fairly good shape for a 34 year old bike.

It's been 26 days since I crashed at Etown and I'm still hurtin, haven't even been in the garage working on the bikes. Longest time I have been off a bike in 2yrs or so, first time I have felt old. This sucks!

got a new toy to hurt myself on. thought you guys would appreciate it.

it belonged to a coworker who used to live in sacramento and race the golden state nationals in the late 80s. had some cool trophies from carlsbad, sacramento raceway, glen helen, and i think one was porterville? its been sitting in his garage ever since he moved here about 15 years ago or so. ive been bugging him about it for about 3-4 years. he finally caved knowing it would be going to a good home.

has spark, tons of compression, needs a solid going over though.

Thats actually a great bike! Sudco sells carbs and jets etc.
You can get most parts from Honda, plastic is available from a bunch of places, seat covers, seals, all available. let me know if you need help with anything? I probably have stuff that fits it as well.
    Nice find!!!

Decided to take my race doctors(Kenny61) advice and try and "un pinch it" today and go for a ride. It's been so long my man card is at stake and my testosterone has dropped so low that I'm getting moobs again( there real and not spectacular).

So I'm sick with a cold, my ribs still hurt, my hip is half numb and half hurt but at 53 if I only rode when I was 100% I would never ride again....ride report to follow.
