Hard to choose: I really liked the '98 1100 as it was my first, but when I got the 1200GS, it was night and day!
I found myself riding the 1200GS like a sport bike, so I traded it for a HP2 Megamoto. The MM is the backroad blaster, and is soooo fun, but not a long distance bike.
1150GSA was nice, but not enough top end for me- hence the 1200GSA...
If I was to have only one bike, it would be the 1200GS...

Thanks for your input, interesting. I prefer the 1150GSA, since I own one (02) , but really covet the HP2 MM. I try to live in my reality and am happy with the long distance ability of the GSA.

    I have owned a big Z continuously since I was 15 in 1982. I have got it pretty bad I must say. I have a 78 z1000 on the way from the UK and I just need a 76 z900 and I am done. I hope. :eek1

Oh man does that bring back memories!!!
I had a '74 Z1, bought new, put 70,000 miles on it, had it for 10 years, wish I'd never sold it. :(:

that is a beauty - I can only imagine how you felt the day you picked that up in 1974. I love my 1974 and I think it is the most 'character' bike out of all of them. I can't believe you sold it but I bet it was the right thing to do at the time. I brought my 74 in from the States two years ago and I love riding it. You guys have all the best bikes over there. Would you buy another?

I'm always thinking about buying another one but they've become very collectable and the price for one in good condition is $5,000 and up. I sold mine to buy a new '84 GPZ 900 (Ninja). A superior bike in every way to the Z1 except in character. I've always thought the 73-74 Z1 was the best looking bike ever made. Maybe some day...

That was going to be my next bike instead of buying another Speed Triple, but Kawasaki chose to screw owners with the model designation. You *must* be getting raped on insurance my friend!

    Interesting.

I have high deductibles, or what I'd consider higher. Maybe that has something to do with it.

I also have multi-line, but I didn't think that did anything for Motorcycles.
