I think last year I was telling Steamboat Dave that we were past the difficult stuff. After a while he figured out I had no idea what the hell I was talking about :lol3

That's too funny, but I actually been over it but just couldn't remember where the tough spots were. Maybe I was just wishing we were over the worst.

This year it was much tougher in spots. I think HTM was correct when saying the area had a tremendous amount of erosion.

We rode, 150 miles. There were only 5 of us and only Cathy and I rode both days. I was tired but it was a good high speed ride through southern AZ. Emerson.Biguns took us through some areas I had never been just West of Green Valley.

Me crashing was probably the only event worth a picture.:D

Thanks for the ride guys. Hope I didn't slow everyone down too much. That sand at the beginning kicked my ass. The WR was in full plow mode.

Sorry but we were lame and took not even one picture the entire day. It was a very nice ride. There was deep sand in the beginning, that lasted about 20 (a million) miles it seemed. We did all survive the sand though and made up time after that.

I was forced to eat a microwave burro at the Arivaca General Store since we didn't have time to cover mileage and feed me in the way I am accustomed to. The burro was actually very good and I got a bottle of Saspirilla to wash it all down, yummy!

We got to Green Valley and one more portion of dirt (optional) to rdie back. Emerson got on some scenic back roads (paved) and we made our way to our start point with daylight to spare.

I am glad the last leg was not even brought up for discussion because I might have wawnted to stay on the dirt, but by the time we got back to our trucks I was done, done!

    Nice weekend of riding fella's
