You may have been joking but I'd be up for a Pachaug trail maintenance ride sometime soon. This coming weekend would make sense but I may or may not be available this weekend and I bet some others who would be interested may just be getting power back and have more important things to take care of...

We could crash that "Misery Loves Company" fake camp-n-ride thw following weekend (Nov 9th-11th) and ride the loop one day with some limited tools and see how things look. Clear out what we can...

My bike is getting disassembled. Count me out. So far I got the seat and tank off and gave it a good wash - then the power went out. I imagine the maintenance / repairs will take a few weeks.

    New:
    piston & rings
    Swingarm, wheel & steering bearings
    Chain slider & guide
Fix e-start & upgrade oil pump gears
Fix kick starter - broken screw
    Water pump seal

Nope not kidding.. I doubt I will be available to camp this weekend..depends on the power situation.. the tree folks were in my backyard when I went home for lunch.. but the power company, in their infinite wisdom, had turned the power back on to my line.. which was laying on the ground and wrapped around an oak tree.. so they had to stop cutting the tree. When I left they were waiting on the power folks to cut the power.. I have a chainsaw, yes I am aware of the restrictions, and a couple of smaller hand saws.. plus maybe an e-tool shovel.. lets see how the week progresses.

I'm going to ride this one, it will be my 2nd enduro. I'm hoping it won't be too tough, calling me a C rider is being very generous.

I know for a fact that the trail out of green falls campground is blocked by a large tree. This is the section that heads towards the farms, or the dam on the lake. I thought about heading out there yesterday to get it taken care of, but in the four stores I went to on Aquidneck Island, none had chainsaw bar/chain oil.. I took it as a sign to watch football :D There is definitely no way around the tree that I could see.
