that bikes pretty cool. So how much do you think it weighs now? I want one now....:clap

I'd flip that headlight bracket personally, the headlight looks really high up there. Strictly looks wise though.

Yep, got a used Ninja 250 a couple of months ago. It's a yellow 2006. I plan on some weekend long tours up here in the Pacific North West. I would post a picture if the "attach file" would work. Maybe the site doesn't like Mac's...

    Cheers,

Here's my '08 EX250. It's seen a bit of wear but she's a trooper. The pics are a bit old, but my current mods include:

1" bar risers, bar-mounted mirrors with integrated signals, Corbin seat with custom bracket to angle it backwards, couple standard 12V outlets, GPS, (sirius got stolen), new ZX6R front master cylinder with remote reservoir, removed airbox and running pod filters now, plus tankbag, saddlebags, and rear bag. I think that's everything for now, although I plan on trying out some Buell Ulysses pegs and seeing how they do, as well as a bigger windscreen. As it stands now I can go through a full (4.8gal) tank without needing to get up, so I probably don't need to do anything.

Oh, and one thing I've learned through all this is that the Magellan Roadmate 1200 is QUITE waterproof.

Haha...Yeah,right after i took the pic I lowered it a few inches. When I bought it it weighed 331 lbs with a dry tank. It weighs in at 290 lbs with a dry tank as it sits. I have found about another 6 or so pounds to remove when I get a chance and have been searching salvage places for a suitable aluminum swingarm. Also working on reshaping the seat, narrowing the tank and puting on a cafe rear end. Clip ons are already on there way. hoping to get the bike down around 275 lbs when it is finished.:evil

Good shit man. I am thinking about doing sort of a faux antique job so that it looks tarnished as well as some old faded looking serial numbers....

    Post pics of your 250.

Try putting the picture on photobucket.com or smugmug.com and then linking to the image in your message, works good for me.

Lowsided and messed up one side, sold the other on eBay :p

The upper fairing still gives me as much wind protection as I'll ever get on a 250 :D

which aprilia is that 50 or 125?

I think one of the 50cc's would be sweet, especially if you could get it registered as a moped. :)

Great links. I've already ripped the metal plate out of my seat and added more foam. It rides very nice at the moment but I'm still thinking about an Alaskan Leather buttpad.
