Finially ordered the matte coolers from Gorazd this morning. Will report back on how long it takes to receive in Canada. Price is 299 US or approx 340 Canadian.
There's only been 3 rides for me so far where the heat has been an issue - but for a hot August 30+ day I think investing in these will pay off.

I have had the seat coolers on for about 1000 miles now. They just plain work, every once in a while I will feel some heat on my ankle/lower leg. That reminds me how well the seat coolers work. Worth every cent.

Very interested in the Wings shields as the heat is truly bothersome but I'm worried that they will direct the heat toward the passenger pegs and cook the female unit who often enjoys riding pillion.
Anyone have a passenger report of before and after? :ear

My passenger(s) tell me it is now hotter for them, mainly lower leg and ankle if legs are exposed. Not noticeable if passenger is wearing proper boots and trousers.

How does the Wings heat shield mount to the bike?

So yeah, the heat can be a problem and it has been annoying me. But, after looking into some of the solutions, I decided that it wasn't worth spending more than $300 to buy a couple pieces of plastic. I fixed the problem for FREE. I was at the dealership one day and asked them if I could have a couple of the plastic license plate backers. I took them home and zip tied them to the bike and this seems to work fine. I'm sure that some people might not think that it looks as good as the other options, but I am more about function over fashion... Plus, it was pretty much free!

$17,000 bike, and you don't want to spend $300. Instead you fit two pieces of ugly, hideous plastic, and your proud of that. Good for you and your bravery.

It's the principle. The fact of the matter is, I don't see them when I'm riding, so I don't care. Like I said, I'm more concerned about function over fashion. If your so concerned about looks, go buy a Harley and polish your chrome on the weekends. I'll be out riding. :lol3

Any chance you can make a taller windscreen out of those too?

I agree $300 for the shield is way overpriced. No need for them to be carbon fiber, I'd be more than happy to have them in plastic at 1\2 the price

Are they real carbon fiber?? Or are they plastic that looks like carbon fiber?

I'm with BHoward - it's like gigantic hoop earrings on a beautiful woman - just cheapens the whole package....:becca

I love a chick in hoop earrings! My wife won't wear them... :(

I would also like them in plain plastic for 1/2 the price. Carbon fiber is for Ducatis :deal
Imma get me some a them plate backs! I was looking around the garage yesterday, and couldn't find any plastic. Thanks for the idea. I did have a big sheet of fiberglass cloth, and fationed it up under the seat just like theirs. Need to pick up a new roll of aluminum tape though.
