RFM is keeping up nicely. The Fish not seeing as much activity. FR4 coverage rocks.

I'm apparently a lot bigger noob than I realized. Used to be a member of RU. Am familiar with and have been a contributor to other private torrent sites previously. But I'm odd man out on RFM and don't even know what "the fish site" is. I might even have it in my list of links, I just don't get the reference.

If anyone is willing to help me out a little bit (even throw me a bone so I can figure it out) through PM that would be awesome. Or hook a random internet person up with an RFM account would be even better... but not expected.

    Anyway, back to Dakar awesomeness....

Why doesn't the official Dakar site sell a subscription to the extended highlights of the stages for the whole race for a cheap (think $10ish) fee? The coverage in the USA is not very good. I like all three categories, bikes, cars and trucks. Dakar almost makes Baja look like a weekend hobby race by comparison. Not that I am trying to bash Baja.... I can stand to be a day behind on the results, since no-one will ruin the surprise of the days outcome here in Wisconsin. :D:D

Big thanks to the the ADV crew and GoNOW in particular! We get no coverage of the Dakar in New Zealand until its too late. Trying to find quality torrents without stumbling across results is a nightmare!

Sadly no - unless I set up a VPN. Looks like you could grab it via satellite until about May last year then it disappeared:cry

Okay, I'll probably get suspended or at least be public enemy #1 around here for this but here goes...

This entire thread is ridiculous. It is not illegal, and no one cares about TELEVISION shows being torrented. Virtually every show in the developed world is available online these days. Once it is broadcast in the public domain, it is pretty much fair to trade it.

You probably have better coverage on some obscure channel by following this easter egg hunt, but if you are patient the races will be posted from a variety of sources here. The one thing in common all of these "private torrent" games have is someone harvesting emails or at least selling them to another party for exploitation. If you get tired of stupid rules, control freak puffery, and just want to watch the event, then go here:
    http://thepiratebay.se/search/dakar 2013/0/99/0

If you want to watch virtually any television show on the face of the Earth, go here:
    http://thepiratebay.se/browse/205

None of this fiasco with the secret handshakes, and hidden clubs is necessary. Every supercross, motocross, formula1, football game, etc is available on torrent sites all the time, since probably 2005... You just need a little patience and the ability to follow some simple instructions.

Freedom cannot survive with so many rules. Fvck all these rules.

In a nutshell, you're wrong about this.

There are laws covering "fair use", but that does not extend to an entire broadcast, just portions of it, and for specific uses.
