Great ride, those that came. Thanks feenix for the advice and ride planning ideas. I grabbed a few pics when we stopped, right before we split to head our own ways.

Just checking in. Just rode down from Oregon to see my brother. I am staying with him this week. He lives off Cortaro road.

Do you guys meet up at all during the week?

Tomorrow I am free most all day. Not sure what we are doing the rest of the week?

Sorry to say that I will be heading back to work tomorrow. Won't be available till late Sat morning at the earliest.

Depending on what type of riding you are looking for there are plenty of options in the area.

What do you ride. I'm open to some riding today. Are you interested in dirt or paved riding. I know the area pretty well.

    Hi Everyone,
Back in 2006, me and a few friends did Copper Canyon.
    Ever think of riding it?
Here's a chance to see what all the fuss is about.

This Saturday, February 21st at 3pm we'll be giving the trip talk at On Any Moto in Tucson, AZ. This is the SEAT event and it also includes a ride on Sunday. Keep reading!!

Here's the link from On Any Moto.
    http://onanymoto.com/index.php?optio...ents&Itemid=29

We'll also announce a DualSport ride at the talk that will take place on Sunday the 22nd. It will be hosted by On Any Moto and will likely involve happy hour at my house afterward. So, if you want to know about the Sunday Ride, you have to show up on Saturday!!!

    See you all there!!![IMG]

Work told me today to pick Saturday or Sunday to have off.
I hit the boards and couldn't find anything definitive for either day.
I will probably take Sunday and participate in the local autocross.

Sadly, the bike I just bought (an XL250R, not XR200R) came up as stolen in 1985 and TPD has to pull the old paper files out of storage to decide if I am allowed to keep the bike. The history shows that it had a bonded title two owners ago. Until then, I was told to keep the bike parked as the cops will pull it up as a stolen bike if they pull me over.

So, if I get to keep the bike, I need to see what kinds of things I can upgrade. I think the 400 motor will fit on the bike, I just need to do some searching...

Well, by get together I mean "gagglefuck in huge groups and show off until one or more police divisions show up, start arresting folk, and the news shows up to televise either "police-brutality" or "motorcyclists out of control." neither of which is good for anyone.

And why should we care? Well duh, We need parking places, and if I have to drive past one more parking spot with a single gixxer in it, I'm gonna kick it over. Why is it that no one but bmw/ktm/honda/suzuki adv/touring types can fit more than one bike in a car spot?

    AFD,

I still don't see how this relates to the On Any Moto event. Are we talking about 2 different things? Wouldn't be the first time for me :D :D

Well since my original question has yet to be answered. I originally asked if this event was the same time as the sport biker's get together thing at on any moto.

The SEAT event at On Any Moto on Saturday is not a sport bike gathering. SEAT is the South East Arizona Touring riders. Mostly a BMW touring club but a lot of other bikes too.
