Around 5 hours Autobahn from my location, but I plan to do a trip down to south Germany and could and would plan my vacation and our "meeting" together :)

Good idea Why not plan the meet in May-early June before the holiday season starts. Whitsun 2014 is the 9th of June, nice date for a meet maybe?
Count us in for two. This will probably be our last outing before we ride off to Thailand in August 2014 (at least that's the plan!).
