Did Josephine county not just vote keep public safety unfunded?

Did the people of that county not just make a decision on how they want to be governed and taxed?

I am not sure what a mild dig at me has to do with the voters of a county making a decision to gut their own public safety resources. And they would have gotten the payment if not for budget bullshit in congress triggering the sequester.

I'm sure the wealthy Californians retiring there are the ones not willing to pay for police services. Makes sense to me.
