    Thanks for the write up and pics Rob. I think the daylight pics against the wall says it all, at night the camera will not be as accurate in showing the diff. between the 2 bulbs.

    IIRC 1400-1500 lumens for a "stock" bulb.

    Yes, the Gen 1 uses an H4. And it looks like there is plenty of space behind the headlight.

    Had some questions regarding the length of the protrusion/heat sink.

    From the back of the H4 mounting tabs to the back of the black housing is 49mm.

    Your Spec. below states:

    20 watts / 1.5 amps

    is that low beam ?? high beam ??

    Can you give both for Low and High Beam ??

    Low beam 20 watts / 1.5 amps

    High beam 20 watts / 1.5 amps

    You get full power on low beam with a sharp cutoff. The light output changes position to create the high beam.
