Hey thanks owtcast........I really appreciate the "no bull" response. I didnt realize that they were so easy to switch out. Since so many folks seem to want to re-jet their TW carb, mine is a TK,03 BIKE....still stock on the engine, It seems that perhaps one could just buy a bigger and better carb, but I have not heard of anyone going that route. Maybe because it really isnt neccesary. I know some may say" just shutup and ride your bike!".......................But, Its fun to tweak around with motorbikes. sURfn
Got the Borrego rack this weekend and its perfect! Bigger than the OEM rack, smaller than the cycle rack. Today I installed the bigger LED driving light and the Dyna beads. That was the end of a very long list of mods for this TW200. I think it is finally where I want it: Ready to go for spring.

I was under the impression from the TW forums the XT350 tank wouldn't fit. Did you have to do anything weird to get it on, or does it fight right on?
LED lights do not project like HID, but on the TW you don't really need lights that reach out 1/2 mile. The speeds just are not there to need that. I can see opening up the sides and reaching out a little though. I had one on the shelf from a long past project. It looks very similar to these: Hyper White LED Fog / Driving light That search revealed several sets on Ebay under $20 a pair. I decided to shelve the 9 LED in favor of a larger light. I did quite a bit of looking. For my application a small size and low power consumption are critical. The LED lights are not easy to find and you don't get much selection. Ease of installation and not a "one off" custom light. Price is another consideration as well. This is an economy bike. It is mounted in the center below the bracket. I don't have pictures of it illuminated yet. I just got it installed yesterday and the weather turned off bad. The photos I tried in the garage were worse than the one above. It is a YTL "hyper bright" 28 LED light (China). I picked up a pair of them on Ebay for under $20 shipped. The light appears a bit more focused forward. Less blue and more white than the one I had. I have a headlamp off switch, so it is possible I could run with this on in the daytime to ease loads on the charging system. The TW is not know for an abundance of power being available. This might offset some accessories. The round rocker switch on the left is my headlamp kill switch. It shuts off the low beam headlamp for starting. The one on the right is the LED driving light. It will be fun to see how this works out. The installation blends in pretty well with the bike. Anything is an improvement over stock. The cost was minimal, so I don't have much to lose.

I had the switches on the shelf. Salvaged from a vehicle at the wrecking yard I suspect. I have seen similar switches at Radioshack. I did make the mounting brackets. A simple paper pattern to fit them in place. Then drilled a hole for the switch and mounting bolt in .080" aluminum. Trace the pattern and cut it out.
I posted this elsewhere, but for you guys, maybe you can help. Well, I just got my bike back with the 15/47 sprocket change. It was a windy day and I have to say that it was a little disappointing. I have a definite improvement in the lower gears and 4th is like 5th used to be. 1st is like 2nd and so on. But when I went to 5th, I lost power and would lose speed until I reshifted into 4th. Then back up to about 65 then into 5th and I would drop back down to 55. I feel certain that the windy day had something to do with it, but it was unacceptable. My question is why did this happen? Is it the front gear to 15 that did it? or was it going to a 47 on the rear that did it? I am thinking that I should go back to 50 and keep the 15 ( easier) But will that make any difference? Interesting that everything else was way better. The engine especially seemed much less stressed and ran at a much better rpm. But 5th was disappointing. Any thoughts before I make the next move! I suspect that when you shift into 5th, the reduced rpm's puts you below the torque peak of the engine, hence you slow down.
