Great video. I could have sworn I heard him say "You need to focus within the rally" although his pronunciation of 'focus' was not entirely clear. Maybe you have a little too much farking on the brain. Freud said that it could happen sometimes.

Haha, I saw it, couldn't stop smiling. All is good with the various factory teams (Honda, Sherco, Yamaha, TM), with the exception of maybe KTM. They requested a software mod for Coma and Despres. They are unsure whether they'll be running the new units in Dakar as they haven't had a chance to test them yet. Fingers crossed! :evil

It just shows again that these riders and drivers are all strong willed, but physics always wins in the end :rofl:clap

But where do they store the wheel with freshly fitted tire/mousse? Or was it behind the garden shed where he stopped to relieve himself? :D

I saw that yesterday - it's interesting to hear Cyril talk about the book he wrote to carry on the work started by the late Fabrizio Meoni in Senegal. A bit more info on the book here http://www.cyrildespres-shop.com/

I know one competitor will be auctioning a copy of the book signed by Cyril Despres to fund his 2013 Dakar campaign ..................

Many thanks to Doyle and RRR for keeping us informed during the 'difficult' Dakar 'Off Season'.
Plus Troy for his insightful and in depth answers to all questions RALLYE!
RRR and ADV have gently nursed us through those dark months but I do fear for Doyle!.......:eek1
How on this earth is he going to construct an opening post for the 2013 Dakar, it's going to be an epic so I bet he has already started writing it!:clap

:D Troy. Still prefer the original version of the beginning, but you are the creative F5rce, Im going to miss the the day by day bantering while I am out there reporting for you guys.

Thats great video by Cyril. Say what you will about his mudgate, nasty little tactics and killer instinct out there, he appears to actually quite a humble chap when he is not in race mode. I find that Cyril quite a liekeable chap. The Mr Hyde Cyril Despres is another thing altogether. :huh :lol3
