Yep, that's her in running form. I was thinking I might be able to paint the new subframe without disassembling the bike, but after letting her sit in the rain at WF there was enough surface rust that I needed to tear down the whole bike for paint. That was probably a good thing.

She's been a lot of fun this winter:

I entered her recently in the ice races. The headlight, license plate bracket, and rear view mirror are easily removable for racing. There is a flattrack series at IMI that runs from April to October (http://banginbars.com/). They have a hooligan class (basicly street legal bikes) that I think this bike would do well in.

    Hey Scott-

I've been looking for a CRF 50 for my (going on) 7-year old and when I find a good one, I'll be looking to sell his Oset 16.0.

I'm high on the W Slope, so you might well find one closer, but if you don't, maybe check back with me.

It's been a great bike to learn on and as he grew, I made a makeshift seat that he could sit on.

He's gone from learning in the park:

But now he needs the next step.

Shoot me a PM or email me at todd(at)mountaintrip(dot) com

I guess I'll take the opportunity to throw it out there:

f anyone's got a CRF 50 in good shape, lemme know!

I have some steel bars that you are welcome to have. They look like OEM Japanese. Does the usual Friday delivery work? (We really ought to move closer together :deal)

If anyone has a Corbin seat on their bike and could take a picture of how the switch is wired up, or draw me up a schematic it would be greatly appreciated.

I have one for my R1200GS and it seems to be shorted out, Fuse blows when I turn it on. I am hoping that maybe the switch got wired up wrong and that the seat is not shorted. There are more than two wires on the switch BTW.

    Your help is greatly appreciated.

Thought I saw an ad a guy in the springs put up on Craig's saying he did this sort of stuff and could come out to your location and cut the screen for ya to your liking. It was in the motorcycles for sale section.

You might want to call Mark first to see if he still does that kind of thing. He cut one down for me several years ago.

That is unless you just want an excuse for a ride in the hills. :lol3

Let me know how it goes. I'd love to have my CalSci cut down as well.

I'm looking to buy a new 4channel picoscope but I think I want to play with one before I spend $2500. If anyone has one for sale, rent or loan let me know.

I'm looking for a ski vise - nothing fancy - just need to hold my skis while I edge and wax. I was thinking of just making a wooden contraption that just holds the binding with a support out near the tip. But I figgered I'd check in here first. :ear
