Excellent! I might thake you up on that one day. No problem on doing all of the work. I used to race my girl singlehanded and double handed.

This is a pic of her in the 2003 Ensenada Race. I've also raced her to Cabo, and Manzanillo.

In 1999, I won the Santa Barbara/King HArbor race, Long Beach Race Week, Crew of Two Around Catalina, Catalina Island Series, and we took 2nd in the Channel ISlands Race in 1998.

Alas, I sold her last year as the kid duties took priority over days and weeks of fun and alcohol filled time on the water.

The saying around Long Beach/Newport was that if you sailed on Allegiance, you must have a high tolerance for alcohol:freaky .

We used to rate the distance of a race by how many cases or kegs it would take to finish.

Herrhelmet used to race with me. He could tell some stories I'm sure:lol3 . Not to include the one where I got him thrown out of his Yacht Club for life due to a little incident in Ensenda involving an angry midget, a cruise ship, a dragging anchor and a lot of alcohol, I think a shot gun might have been involved in this incident as well. Could've been another though, they all run together after a while.

My main competitors were Roy Disney (Walt's Nephew) and Dennis Conners.

I usually raced sprints with 13-15 people and offshore with 6-8 depending on the length of the race.

You guys are over qualified, you can come out and show me how to sail my own boat:bow
