Everybody said that the road through Taouz is not possible because of flooding of Oued Rheris, We are tired to have feet wetted, we decide to go through Rissani

We cross the Oued at Rissani and after 20 km on the road we turn on the left on the track. Some time when we ride off road we don’t see any footprints, hidden by the rains

We go on the south, I select my own track ,trying to avoid soft mud areas thanks to the different color of the ground. Very easy to get stuck
When we arrive to the Maider lake, it’s not just a name on a map it’s really a lake, amazing

We cross our tracks done in 2006, I recognize the town of Fougani. Near this town we can see that they start ploughing thanks to the recent rains but now it’s not done with a donkey or a camel but with a beautiful red tractor

After the meal, short siesta and then on the track again, hoping we won’t have a flat like 2 years a go.
Easy track in the south following the Algerian border

    Salut Eric,

:thumb:thumb
    J'attendrai la prochaine histoire.
    Bonne route, Erik

@ Walter, I think you had the better weather
