Oh and Col can yer ask Dean if he has any Barry Manilow? If he doesn't have the Seekers (bloody peasant) then Barry will have to do.

On the serious side, my Sister and Brother-in-laws farm at Mundubbera has been destroyed in the floods and I'll be heading North to help when I can get through, so there is an chance that i may not make it. I'll keep you in the loop.

Jo's Jo's Cafe in Guyra will be the lunch stop for the ride. Colin, the proprietor, will return 20% of his lunch taking to Down Syndrome. He is offering basic fixed price lunches at competitive pricing.

Ride went great Bill, no issues at all. One guy laid his BMW down at slow speed and another idiot had two flat tyres and left his helmet in Glen Innnes but other than that it was fabulous!

I , I mean the idiot, got a new helmet and gloves and secondhand tyre after a few lemonades. Cheers to Turbo for sorting me out! The new Adventure Helmet (Fly Racing) is excellent.

42 riders turned up for what turned out to be a fabulous day.

With a $25 donation from each rider, some off the cuff donations and a few riders being fined for stuffing up, over $1200 was raised. This will go towards Team Inverell's overall fundraising target for the 2013 Scrapheap Adventure Ride.

Full report and photo's to follow.
